For the past few years, ITC headquarters has been heading toward our current situation of “busting-at-the-seams”. ITC employees have been making the most out of every possible space in the Holland facility, by sharing office spaces, reducing the office footprint sizes to squeeze in more people, and jockeying for conference room time as we continued to grow the ITC Team. After an in-depth search, ITC is so excited to announce we finally found that perfect space to call our new home! 3030 Corporate Grove Drive, Hudsonville MI, about fifteen minutes east of our current building, is were ITC will put out our new sign and start down a new path full of growth. ITC is preparing the new building with a complete remodel, gutting the outdated mauve cabinets and counters, taking down walls, building out new space for production and test lab, as well as adding a large common area to support teamwork and collaboration. The last piece of the puzzle is a good size investment in equipping the building with the best and latest technology to streamline our daily customer responses.

SongShan Lake is a large lake near DongGuan and a great place to ride bicycles during the Spring season. The weather was very comfortable and the water in the lake was very clear. The blue sky was reflected in the lake and new green grass and flowers were growing near the shore. Breathing in the fresh air of spring gave an appreciation of the environmental effort and sustainable development the government in Guangdong Province is pursuing after the environmental deterioration experienced due to the rapid economic development between 1990 and 2010. ITC in both the US and Asia are committed to improving the environment of our planet wherever we are located.
Please consider riding a bike or walking more often during the coming months.

Recently ITC donated three Maia desk lamps to the new Michigan CASA office located in Grand Rapids. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. The advocates are volunteers that have been trained and are appointed by a judge to represent a child in family court. They advocate for the best interests of the child and spend time learning and talking with the child about their situation. Advocates become the voice of the child in court and help to prevent children from being placed back into unhealthy or dangerous situations. There are over 14,000 abused and neglected children not being served in Michigan alone. ITC strongly supports the work CASA is doing and is looking forward to helping with future donations, volunteer efforts, etc.

It was a chilly fall evening, but there was still a large turn out for the 2nd annual Glow In The Park in Douglas, Michigan. ITC donated it’s newest product introduction, the Versicolor RGB flexible lighting. The set-up included a 20′ x 40′ tent wrapped in Versicolor and the color changing was controlled by an app downloaded to the organizer, Erin Wilkinson’s phone. Erin stated that the party was a “smashing success” and that they had “over 600 people through the front entrance in the first 30 minutes”. The ITC team was proud and excited to contribute and participate in this local event and can’t wait to see what the Glow In The Park team comes up with next year. Thank you to all the employees that helped plan, set-up and tear down for this event and thank you to Erin Wilkinson for providing us with this great publicity. Click here to see the light in action.
